Are humans unique?

3 February

Heriot watts
The Annual Lecture explores current topics of interest and promotes discussion about the relationship between science and faith, and this year, we are delighted to be welcoming Dr. Sharon Dirckx to give the lecture. Sharon is an international speaker, author and former brain imaging scientist. In the lecture she will consider how a materialist approach to mind, soul and consciousness does not provide all the answers we need to understanding humans and suggest some additional factors that may assist us in fully comprehending our species.

When: Monday 3 February, 7pm.

Where: James Watt Centre, Edinburgh Campus
