Watch the Assembly Trustees webinar

Published on 23 May 2020

Around 1,000 people from across the country took part in a special webinar on Friday, 22 May, to learn how the Kirk's charity trustees and staff are tackling the challenges facing the Church of Scotland.

The Assembly Trustees

Rt Rev Dr Martin Fair chaired the meeting and posed audience questions to the Church's Chief Officer, Dave Kendall, Very Rev Dr John Chalmers, chair of the Assembly Trustees and Raymond Young, chair of the General Trustees.

The discussion looked at the church's financial situation following the COVID-19 health crisis and what plans are in place to stabilise church finances while pursuing the structural reform and radical action plan approved by the 2019 General Assembly.

The Assembly Trustees outline the plan in their report, published on the Church of Scotland website.
