St Columba's by the Castle
A Christian presence in the Holy Land: in search of justice and peace in the midst of war

William Bell, Policy and Advocacy Lead for the Middle East and Rev Muriel Pearson, Mission Partner and will be sharing insights into the realities of life in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory, where conflict and oppression are daily challenges. This event will shine a light on the vital work being done to foster justice and peace in the region. Learn about their efforts to support communities, advocate for human rights, and promote peace.

80th anniversary for Christian Aid

Very Rev Dr Russell Barr (former Moderator and current locum at Largo Parish) will interview Church of Scotland and Christian Aid joint Faithshare Partner, MsTemwa Kasakula who is the Global Advisor for gender, sexual & reproductive health for Christian Aid based in Malawi. Patrick Watt, CEO of Christian Aid will also reflect on the past 80 years and share some of and vision of Christian Aid today.

The Supper has been a highlight for many years and has become almost legendary. We are glad to report that the team at Greyfriars are to provide this again this year. In spite of rising costs, they have kept the charge to £27.50 (as last year). Repairing the World: The Church, Justice, and Global Reparations

Christian Aid will introduce international partners and their own reparations expert. Sally Foster Fulton will talk to the CoS context and the pilgrimage to Jamaica.

Christ's College will be hosting an informal alumni lunch of sandwiches and sides from 12:30pm in the New College Senate Room.
All University of Aberdeen alumni and friends are welcome to attend.

All New College alumni are invited to a lunch on Thursday 22 May from 12.30 to 2pm.
We will meet in the Garden (enter through the door at the bottom of the spiral staircase). If the weather is inclement, we will meet in the foyer.
