Moderator issues prayer for peace in South Sudan

A prayer has been issued by the Moderator of the General Assembly seeking prayer and healing for the people of South Sudan amid renewed hostilities. The Church has strong links with our mission partner in South Sudan and it's hoped congregations will hold them in prayerful support.

Minister appointed to lead Place for Hope charity

Church of Scotland minister Ruth Harvey has been announced as the new head of the leading mediation charity Place for Hope. She takes over as director in October.

Rev Dr Richard Frazer, says the UK Government must resist using EU citizens as a bargaining chip in future negotiations.
