Assurance and Compliance Officer

Salary: £31,563 to £35,170 per annum
Location: Edinburgh
Hours: Part time 15 – 20 hours per week

You will test and report on the adherence to operating policies, procedures and financial controls throughout the Unincorporated Councils and Committees of the Church and monitor and report on compliance with all relevant statutory regulatory requirements.

With a recognised accountancy or auditing qualification, or extensive experience of internal or external audit, your excellent organisational skills will prove invaluable as you manage regulatory compliance and assess adherence to agreed policies and procedures for a large organisation providing a wide range of services.

An excellent communicator who is confident in presenting reports to Senior Managers and Committees, your sound interpersonal skills will enable you to quickly establish rapport within the Church.
