A prayer from Bishop Desmond Tutu to mark the continuing crisis on this global awareness day, and a copy of the report on Sudan which was presented to the General Assembly 2004, is available to download on our reflection for special events page.

From the Committee on Ecumenical Relations

Ecumenical Relations logo The World Council of Churches (WCC) at its 9th Assembly in early 2006 approved a message in the form of a prayer - reflecting on the theme of the Assembly, itself a prayer - "God, in your grace, transform the world".
The prayer can be used in whole or in part or amended to suit particular circumstances.
