songs from one of the five sections of the new book, is
in preparation. Shout for Joy
has now been published.

taste of Church Hymnary are just two of a series
of CDs which contain items from different sections of
the Church Hymnary: Fourth Edition.

postage and packing. Discounts may be available for bulk

| Shout for Joy explores
the Holy Spirit section of CH4, which includes hymns
and songs about the spirit, the Church, the sacraments,
ordination, family, friendship, marriage, national
life, healing, death, and grieving, concluding with
a celebration of the saints. |
 |
Performed by the choir of St Magnus Cathedral, Kirkwall,
St Magnus Festival Chorus and the Orkney Junior County
Choir.
Shout for Joy includes:
God we praise you; Baptised in water; Like fireworks in
the night; O holy dove of God descending; Take and eat;
Now through the grace of God we claim; One is the body;
Jesus putes this song into our hearts; Is it spooky?;
Come to us Creative Spirit; For everyone born; Halleluia,
we sing your praises; You are called to tell the story;
When we are living; I have a dream a man once said; Holy
Spirit come confirm us; Thanks to God; Soon and very soon;
May the God of peace go with us.
A taste of the Church Hymnary includes:
God we praise you; Mayenziwe; Halle, halle, hallelujah;
Praise, I will praise you; Have you heard the raindrops;
I am the Church; Jesus loves me!; No wind at the window;
Blessing and honour; Be still for the presence of the
Lord; Come, now is the time to worship; Thou hidden love
of God; ong long O Lord will you forget; O God you are
my God alone; God weeps; People look east; Let's sing
unto the Lord; Your love O God; Lord of life we come to
you.
