Politics and government

The faith of the Church gives it a passionate commitment to the wellbeing of the nation. Putting that into practice takes many forms, both locally and nationally, and our faith does not only relate to a 'religious agenda' but to practical caring.

Our experience, vision and values are what we want to contribute to the decision-making process that is shaping communities in Scotland. The Church and Society Council works closely with ecumenical partners and the UK and Scottish parliaments on a range of key issues.
