The Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office (SCPO)
The Scottish Churches Parliamentary Office can help you to have your say, providing advice and support to individuals, groups and churches. Visit the website to find information about current parliamentary issues, topical briefing papers, Church responses to government consultations and interviews with MPs and MSPs.
The SCPO was created by Scotland's churches in 1999 to help them build effective relationships with the Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government. In 2005, the office's remit was expanded to support the churches' engagement with the UK Parliament and Government.
SCPO publishes a monthly newsletter, which highlights areas of interest to Scottish Churches, including features such as topical briefing papers, news of ecumenical work, consultations, legislation going through Parliament, and guest columnists. To subscribe free of charge please email SCPO.
