Education issues fall under the remit of the Church and Society Council, and include religious observance in schools, social and moral education and sexual health strategies in education.

Schools and Chaplains
A range of resources for use by schools and their chaplains in school assemblies and classrooms has been developed by the Church of Scotland for Learning Teaching Scotland.
Religious Observance University Course
'Religious Observance: Design and Practice' is a peer led, experience based course about the delivery of Religious Observance. It is accredited at masters module level and delivered in partnership with the University of Glasgow, Church of Scotland and Scripture Union Scotland.

Moderator’s Medal
