Responsible to: Associate Secretary (World Mission) and Women's Development & Service Programme (WDSP) Coordinator and Advisory Committee and ultimately to the Bishop
Base: Lahore, Pakistan

Women's Development & Service Programme require a qualified social worker or counsellor to improve the methodology of the programme by maintaining regular contact with women in both rural and semi-urban communities. This will involve organising workshops to raise awareness and address issues confronting the women e.g. commercial sex work, HIV and AIDS, along with informing women about alternative careers and opportunities for rehabilitation. Experience working with vulnerable woman, preferably in a Christian/Mission context is essential.
Section 9 (2) (b) of the Employment (Sex Discrimination) Act 2000 applies to this post.
You must be a committed Christian, in good standing with your Church. This is a Genuine Occupational Requirement in terms of the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003. This post is subject to Enhanced Disclosure checks.
