Moderator Visits Go For It Funded Projects That Help the Vulnerable

The Moderator of the General Assembly Right Rev Dr Russell Barr yesterday visited three vitally important projects, supported by grants from the Church of Scotland’s Go For It fund.
He heard first-hand about the amazing work undertaken to help some of the most vulnerable people in society.
Dr Barr spent time speaking with hard working staff and volunteers at Start-Up Stirling – Caring Beyond Crisis – a city-based organisation which supports vulnerable people and nearby Allan Park South Church, which runs an imaginative children’s club called Bairns Rock.
He also visited The Gate project in Alloa – a charity based in a former church which helps vulnerable and lonely people who have been homeless and living in food poverty.
