Honest Conversations: Exploring Evangelism, Da’wah and Dialogue
Since the early days of Islam 1500 years ago, honest and dishonest conversations have taken place between Muslims and Christians.
Both Islam and Christianity make exclusive truth claims that generate challenging conversations especially within the political, social, economic and religious context of today.
This day conference will look at the themes and issues that emerge in dialogue between Islam and Christianity so that we can understand our relationship better.
Guest speakers Canon Doctor Andrew Smith and Musharraf Hussein have worked together on this topic for a number of years and have a wealth of insight to share with us. The conference will also include workshops that cover the issues of gender, hate speech and initiatives that we can implement here in Scotland.
A mix of talks, panels, and interactive workshops will generate a lively discussion that we would like you to be a part of.
