CrossReach to brief MSPs on future plans
MSPs are to be given the chance to hear about the future
plans of CrossReach, one of Scotland's largest social
care agencies. CrossReach - the Church of Scotland's
Social Care Council - will hold a briefing meeting for
MSPs at Holyrood on Thursday 17th April at 1pm in Committee
Room 1, complemented by an interactive display in the
Parliament building.
Cabinet Secretary for Justice, Kenny MacAskill, will
welcome guests to the event on behalf of the Parliament,
before CrossReach's Chief Executive Alan
Staff speaks on 'Energising Scotland for the
Future'. He will focus on 4 main themes - Reaching Communities,
Reaching Individuals, Crossing Generations and Crossing
Thresholds.
Speaking about the briefing, Alan Staff said: "At
CrossReach we are committed to bringing new ideas and
innovation to the social care sector. One important
aspect of that is to work in partnership with the Scottish
Government and this briefing is a great opportunity
to interact with MSPs and also inform them about our
plans for the future."
