February - March 2010
1 February
A visit to the Chaplaincy and Trinity College at Glasgow University.
5 February
The Moderator will visit Aberdeen University and attend a service with Divinity students at lunchtime lunchtime. In the evening he will attend a service with the Presbytery at St Machars Cathedral, where the minister is the Presbytery Moderator, Rev Alan Falconer. He will also be presenting long service certificates.
6 February
The Moderator will be a guest at a civic lunch with Aberdeen Council.
7 February
Preaching at a Founders Day service in University Chapel at Aberdeen.
9 February
The Moderator will host a lunch for council conveners and secretaries.
11 February
The Moderator will be a guest at a dinner for religious leaders hosted by Lord Mayor of London.
14 February
In the morning, the Moderator will visit Sherwood Greenlaw for a service and dedication of new facilities, and in the evening he will attend a Songs of Praise service at Elderslie, the Moderator's former congregation.
22 February
Attending the Poverty Truth Commission in Glasgow.
27 February
The Moderator will visit St Andrews University and attend a reception and dinner at St Mary's College.
28 February
Preaching at the University Chapel.
1 March
The Moderator will give one of the Edinburgh Lecture series.
6 - 15 March
Visit to Lanark Presbytery
7 March
Morning worship at Carluke: Kirkton Parish Church United, and evening service at Carstairs United.
8 March
Visit to the Haven and Eco Tunnel Project.
9 March
Presbytery meeting at Lanark St Nicholas.
10 March
Short service at Greenhills Care home in the morning, and afternoon visit to New Lanark World Heritage Village. In the evening, Guild Presbyterial Council at Lanark: Greyfriars Parish Church.
11 March
Visits to Carluke High School and Milton Grange Nursing Home.
12 March
Visits to Carstairs State Hospital and a multi-faith centre, and praise service with the Youth Choir at Lanark: Greyfriars Parish Church in the evening.
13 March
The Douglas Valley in the morning, and Lanark Market social evening at night.
14 March
Morning service at Biggar Parish Church, and evening service with Lanark: St Nicholas Parish Church and Lanark: Greyfriars Parish Church.
