PRIORITY AREAS

Practical support is provided to a number of our priority area congregations ensuring that the needs of the most vulnerable in society, including Scotland's ethnic minorities, are kept before the Church. The list of priority partnership areas has been drawn through independent research carried out by the Scottish Centre for Research on Social Justice. These are the 54 parishes in Scotland which, according to the data available through the 2001 National Census, are the economically poorest in Scotland.

For more information about priority areas and ministry in these communities, and full contact details, visit our Ministries Council page by clicking here.
