Parking

While there are facilities along George Street and South Castle Street, parking can be notoriously difficult at times and it is not recommended that visitors use the parking bays outside the offices if they are likely to be staying for a long time. Traffic wardens operate in the area at all times and fines for expired tickets are hefty. Parking costs are 45p for every 15 minutes, up to a maximum of three hours (£5.40). Charges apply from 8.30am to 6.30pm. There are a number of longer term parking facilities within a 20 minute walk of the offices. These are, for example, at the Saint James' Centre, Morrison Street and Kings Stables Road.
