Complete LREG Form and give to Congregation’s Child Protection Co-ordinator 3. References checked, Church Board advised by C.P.C. 4. C.P.C. requests completion of Church Declaration Form and Disclosure Application 4.1 Disclosure Application Form Part C - Section C2 MUST HAVE CHILDCARE BOYS’ BRIGADE 5. C.P.C. checks form, ID of applicant and sends form to Church of Scotland Safeguarding Office 5.1 Safeguarding Office checks form, add details to data-base and send form to Disclosure Scotland 5.2 Disclosure Scotland carries out check and sends results to Safeguarding Office and the Applicant 5.3 Safeguarding Office advise Congregation’s C.P.C. and Scottish H.Q. of Disclosure outcome 5.4 Congregation’s C.P.C. advises Church Session and confirms Church appointment(s) 6. C.P.C. completes the appropriate part of the LREG Form and returns it to the Company who send it to the Battalion Secretary 7. Battalion Secretary signs, sends to Scottish H.Q. without delay 8. Scottish H.Q. process Application and Leaders Registration Card and letter of appointment issued 9.
