Background
The Guild is a member organisation
of Make Poverty History, a movement which brings together
a wide cross section of over 300 charities, campaigns,
trade unions, faith groups and celebrities who are united
by a common belief that 2005 offers an unprecedented
opportunity for global change.

What are its aims?
The manifesto of Make Poverty History focuses on tackling
global poverty and to call for action on:
- trade justice;
- dropping the debt of the poorest countries;
- providing more and better aid.

The Guild is committed to help Make Poverty History and
to help you learn more about the issues involved, please
spend some time on the movement's website. You can access
