INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Central Services Committee.
The departments which come under the remit of this
committee carry out the central day-to-day service work
of the Church, from the management of the Church Offices
in Edinburgh to the Central Properties,
Law and IT departments.
The work of Human Resources also comes under this committee.
The Central Services Committee reports direct
to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. Click

Membership
The Central Services Committee membership is made up as
follows:
Convener
Angus Macpherson
Elder at Edinburgh: Palmerston Place
Vice-convener (Human Resources)
Philip Craig
Elder at Prestwick: Kingcase
Vice-convener (Central Properties)
Bill Steele
Elder at Alvie and Insh
Plus six members appointed by the General Assembly,
together with, ex officiis and non voting, the Secretary to the Council of Assembly, the Solicitor of the Church, the General Treasurer
and the Head of HR and IT.
