Central Services Committee

Church of Scotland emblem

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Central Services Committee, which is one of five autonomous committees of the Support and Services Council.

The six departments which come under the remit of this committee carry out the central day-to-day service work of the Church, from the management of the Church Offices in Edinburgh to the Media Relations Unit, Central Properties, Law and IT departments. The work of Human Resources also comes under this committee.

As with the other committees of the Support and Services Council, the Central Services Committee reports directly to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and not via the council. Click here to find out more about the Church's General Assembly annual event.

Use the navigation on the right hand side of this section to find out more about the departments of the Central Services Committee.
