Presbytery clerk

The presbytery clerk has responsibility for arranging the meetings of the presbytery, keeping the minutes and other records, and bringing correspondence to the notice of the presbytery or of its appropriate committee. Communication with the presbytery is made initially through the clerk and although he or she has no direct authority over the court, very often the clerk can be a very useful source of advice to individuals on Church law and procedures.
