NEWTON ON AYR PARISH CHURCH 
Establishing a church with pizza
We are trying to establish a daughter church in our parish area, called Newton Neighbourhood Church. It meets monthly and we always serve food: hamburgers, pizzas and pakora. We are now having a fair number of regulars and the services have had nearly 100 attend, including our own team. 
We meet in a primary school adjacent to our target area. We had good publicity in the local press especially when we organised an Alternative Halloween Party, which reached Scottish Television (STV) 6pm news. Costs are high but so are hopes. One day we hope to go weekly but just now that seems a long way off.
