Argyll Presbytery

Kilbrandon and Kilchattan: community development, the islands of Seil, Luing and Easdale. A Parish Development Fund supported initiative.

Oban: inter-church project developing work on the streets, through the high school and with the churches in the town. A Parish Development Fund supported initiative.

Ayr Presbytery

Newton on Ayr: establishing a daughter church in the parish area, called Newton Neighbourhood Church.

Dumbarton Presbytery

Garelochhead: a drop-in youth facility developed by the young people of the village in partnership with the church and the local community trust. A Parish Development Fund supported project.

West Dumbarton: a range of initiative from 'church around the kitchen table' to 'graceful living'.

Dundee Presbytery

Stobswell: celebrating in verse.

Dunfermline Presbytery

Kelty Kirk: studying Luke's Gospel as a congregation.

Duns Presbytery

Chirnside: developing a computer club and internet café, helping children and adults learn more about themselves and communities across the world. A Parish Development Fund supported initiative.

Edinburgh Presbytery

The presbytery: establishing a process for consideration of the Church without Walls report.

Duddingston Kirk: welcoming children to Holy Communion.

Leith churches together: an inter-church project in one of the largest shopping centres in Edinburgh at Ocean Terminal. A Parish Development Fund supported initiative.

St Cuthberts: being ecumenical together in faith.

South Leith: a surprisingly lively, purposeful congregation.

Falkirk Presbytery

Bo'ness St Andrew's: St Andrew's multi-media youth project.

Glasgow Presbytery

Drumchapel churches together: ecumenical project providing care, help and support for parents, children and young people. A Parish Development Fund supported initiative.

Merrylea: taking action through conference.

Mount Florida: identifying the spiritual gifts of the people and growing the church around the people we have.

North Kelvinside: team ministry project supporting young people and their families. This is a Parish Development Fund supported initiative.

Tron St Mary's: is developing work with local children as well as those from asylum-seeking families. This is a Parish Development Fund supported initiative.

Whiteinch: supporting disadvantaged young people at risk, through a youth café and mentor scheme. This is a Parish Development Fund supported initiative.

Gordon Presbytery

Inverurie West: moving the walls - literally - with an imaginative and challenging redevelopment of the main church building.

Monymusk: making a change to suit the local situation.

Greenock Presbytery

Gourock St Johns: listening and talking beyond the walls.

Hamilton Presbytery

Airdie Hamilton: helping provide after school care, offering safe and stimulating play. This is a Parish Development Fund supported project.

Avendale and Drumclog: from altering the way we do kirk session to a 'prayer point machine' in the local Co-op supermarket.

Motherwell churches: nine congregations together forming friendships and breaking down barriers.

Stewartfield: a new charge development making use of IT and creative approaches to prayer and engaging the senses in worship.

Wishaw Thornlie: kirk session conferences are taking time to read the report.

Irvine and Kilmarnock Presbytery

Kilmarnock Shortlees: tackling poverty amongst children and their families by providing a safe place to meet, support and various activities. This is a Parish Development Fund supported project.

Kincardine and Deeside Presbytery

Birse and Feuchside: recognising the way members of the congregation impact on the lives of people, locally, nationally and internationally, both through church and nation.

Stonehaven: inter-church youth project between some of the churches developing work with young people through the school. This is a Parish Development Fund supported project.

Lothian Presbytery

The presbyterty: changing congregations in a new millenium by producing a report showing how the Church in this region is changing - raising questions, not to providing answers, and discussed in presbytery and kirk sessions.

Orkney Presbytery

The presbyterty: building a community ministry, which dovetails into much of the Church without Walls vision to inspire new ways of working.

Ross Presbytery

Fortrose and Rosemarkie: taking risks in the sanctuary and making friends with God's creation.

Stirling Presbytery

Bridge of Allan Chalmers Church: empowerment in a vacancy seeking God’s blessing on our plans.

Sutherland Presbytery

The presbytery: creative ministries in a rural presbytery advanced in encouraging the implementation of new forms of congregational ministry.
