APPLYING FOR GRANTS

We normally accept applications for grants to support HIV projects and programmes from Church of Scotland partner churches and institutions worldwide and within Scotland.

Members of the project group have reviewed our guidelines and are addressing our fundraising strategy in the light of the decision to extend the project until the end of 2010 taking into account our partners' recommendations at the Limuru Consultation in January 2006.

We are unable at present to consider any further applications. Please check this page later in the year for when we will be able to consider new applications.

In the meantime, you can still read more on this page about who can apply for grants and the guidelines and procedures involved in grant applications.

Who can apply for grants?

  • Church of Scotland presbyteries or congregations;
  • Scotland- based nationally-recognised HIV organisations;
  • Partner churches or institutions worldwide (i.e. those which relate to the Church of Scotland through its World Mission Council).

Guidelines

Our revised guidelines are available below in Word [.doc], rich text [.rtf], text only [.txt] and portable document [.pdf] formats.

In order to read [.pdf] files you require Adobe Acrobat Reader. Click here to download for free.

It is essential that you carefully read the guidelines and procedures before deciding to apply for funding once we are able to consider further grant applications.

Applications from partners around the world

We will only be able to consider applications which have been endorsed by existing partner churches and institutions, who relate to the Church of Scotland through its World Mission Council. We regret we will not consider any applications from independent organisations.
