Details of official engagements and visits to be undertaken by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Right Reverend David Arnott during April are:
21-30 April
Visit to the Presbytery of Angus.
2 May
Visit to CrossReach offices – worship with staff.
3 – 8 May
Visit to Rome, including preaching at 150th anniversary service of Church of Scotland congregation.
12 May
Attending Assembly of the Congregational Federation
13 May
The Last Sunday of the Moderator’s year in office – returning to former parish of St Andrews: Hope Park and Martyrs’ linked with Strathkinness – preaching at joint service.
17 May
Church Leaders’ meeting with First Minister.
18 May
Moderator and Mrs Arnott guests of Lord High Commissioner at Palace of Holyroodhouse – for Ceremony of the Keys and reception.
19 May
Moderator will open the General Assembly.
