CHILDREN'S NATIVITY COLOURING COMPETITION 2007

Thank you to everyone who voted in our colouring competition for this year, and thank you to everyone who entered. We received over two hundred entries and it was apparent that a lot of work had gone into each of them. Unfortunately not everyone could win but we hope you enjoyed taking part.

Age 5 years and under

Congratulations to Niamh Cunningham, aged 4, from Gorebridge, who wins our age 5 and under category for this colourful manger scene.

Age 6 - 7 years

Well done to Naomi Shilliday, age 7, from Glasgow, who wins our age 6 - 7 years category for colouring this nativity scene so well.

Age 8 - 9 years

Congratulations to Caitlin Glover, age 9, from St Columba Young Church, Helensburgh, who wins a prize in our age 8 - 9 years category with this lovely drawing.

Age 10 - 12 years

Finally, well done to Lauren Nicolson, from Primary 7 at Inverlochy Primary School, Fort William, who is the winner in our age 10 - 12 years category with this brightly coloured manger scene.

Best Sunday School entry

manger manger It was very difficult to decide the best Sunday School entry as all of them were very good, but this year's winner is Hope Park Church, St Andrew's for their very colourful and imaginative pictures. Congratulations to all of you. Here are two entries from Elliot Johnston, age 6, and Heather McConnell, age 8.

Best school entry

star over Bethlehem angel Well done to Inverlochy Primary School, Fort William, which wins the best school entry, and which sent in entries from P1 to P7. It was a fantastic response and everyone made a great effort. Here are entries from Maisie Byrne in P5 and Rhea Mackay in P1.

Prizes

The overall winner in each age category and best Sunday school and school group entries will be receiving a prize. Our competition is kindly sponsored by Saint Andrew Press. Book cover
